Música yPoesía en Movimiento/Music and Poetry in Motion
Voces Poéticas (Spanish for Poetic Voices) was born out of our love for music and literature. We are musicians and poets dedicated to celebrate our cultures and roots through art. Our group is made up of Julia Campisi (Dance Coordinator) y Mery Pérez (GeneralCoordinator). We often have guest musicians and poets that contribute to our performances. Our repertoire includes music from North, Central, South America as well as Spain. Among the songs that we sing are the musical versions of various poems by some of Latin America and Spain’s great authors including Pablo Neruda and Federico García Lorca.
